What our heavy haulage service covers

Our heavy haulage trucks are configured for single loads or complex freight, and our fleet includes bogies, low loaders, platform trailers, prime movers, semi-low loaders and self-propelled modular transporters (SPMTs).

We use this equipment to move generators, turbines, transformers, cooling towers, aircraft parts and other loads too large or heavy for standard vehicles.

Escort vehicles and permits

Abnormal loads travelling on our heavy haulage vehicles are protected by private escort vehicles, meeting Highways Agency specifications for abnormal loads and vehicles. Before a wheel turns, we complete route surveys, prepare movement permits and notify the police where required, so the move is compliant from the get-go.
