In developing the companies core activity, the abnormal load business, we have put together two machinery removal gangs comprising of qualified riggers, fitters and other highly skilled tradesmen with all the latest equipment, such as turn tables, machine skates and our in house designed and manufactured hydraulic skid system.

All aspects of machinery installations are undertaken to give a complete turnkey operation to the customer. The gangs can shift the heaviest objects and load them on site, equally unloading them on delivery.

Major contract customers such as the Regional Electricity Companies, The National Grid and ICI at the North Cheshire complex in Northside can easily tie them up for a week at a time. Other major North West clients include British Aerospace, GEC, the AMEC Group, and most Liverpool shipping lines.

We are able to provide our own fork lift trucks with an operator as part of our installations and removals equipment. Where customers do not have the equipment to handle the loads on their premises, likewise loads being delivered into there premises then JB Rawcliffe and Sons can provide the appropriate fork truck with the appropriate attachments where necessary to provide the service of offloading/loading & handling on site. Our fork trucks range in capacity with diesel and electric available.
