The company has achieved Section 5 were we are authorised under Section 5 of the Firearms Act 1968 to have in our position and to transfer in the course of our business prohibited weapons and prohibited ammunition.

Radioactive Transport

The company has employees that are qualified to transport goods that are radioactive under the City & Guilds for carriage of dangerous goods by road (driver training) regulations 1996 for ‘any class of dangerous goods, in tanks or packages ‘Class 7 radioactives’

JB Rawcliffe & Sons Ltd are part of an industry-wide scheme certified by Achilles which operates the UVDB supplier management service on behalf of all the major UK utility organisations. In addition to this the company is also UVDB Verified where verification and assessment is applicable for contracts of high operational risk, UVDB Verify allows our company to demonstrate compliance to health, safety, environment and quality requirements.

CCNSG Safety Passport (SCATS)

The company believes strongly in conducting the jobs to the highest of safety standards. Our employees are certified under the Client Contractors National Safety Group (CCNSG) Safety Passport Scheme, accredited by the ECITB, which ensures a knowledge of health and safety for all site personnel to enable them, after appropriate site induction, to work on site more safely with lower risk to themselves and others.
This Clients Contract National Safety Group qualification enables our personnel to satisfy the need for high standards in Health & Safety training in a variety of industries and meets the statutory requirements of the Health & Safety Executive.

Employees are also certified as National Grid ‘Persons’ where they have received awareness training in National Grid Safety Rules, National Safety Instructions and associated procedures and have successfully passed a written assessment that they have the technical knowledge and experience to avoid danger while working as part of a team carrying out works in high voltage substation environments.

EUSR

The Basic Electrical Safety Competence (BESC) registration scheme is intended for all persons who work directly or indirectly on or near operational plant and equipment connected with electricity transmission and distribution. The scheme was originally known as "Resets" and was developed by a task force made up of the Electricity Association Management Co-ordinating Committee (Distribution and Transmission) with the assistance of the Electricity Company Training Managers and the Electrical Training Association.

Level 4 Aviation Security

Working within the Aviation Industry, drivers are trained and security checked to DfT Level 4. The drivers have a comprehensive understanding of the security threat to Air Cargo, their role in preventing unlawful interference in the Cargo chain and the overall importance and purpose security measures have to play in Air Cargo security.

 

CSCS

The CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) card enables construction workers to prove competence in their occupation and health and safety awareness.

Raise standards of health and safety to reduce risks and accidents throughout the industry.
Encourage construction and their customers to use skilled workers.
